The great thing about being on reality t.v. is you get to promote your business. Jill Zarin did it with her hubby's company. Caroline Manzo did it with The Brownstone...
Danielle Staub did it with her......... book? modeling? 'video' ? Okay not sure what it was lol.
Bethenny Frankel did it with her Skinny Girl drink (still haven't tried it. For those who have, how is it? I am a wine drinker and if I was on the Real Housewives franchise, I would have my own brand of red wine) :)
Kim Zolciak did it with her song ' Tardy for the Party' (I liked it but is she a singer? no but she did a good job making money off of that song! )
"The Countess" LuAnn also recorded her music. ...
and so on and so on.
But the one I want to talk about is ...
Melissa Gorga. She and her sister-in-law got into it during this season as well as during the reunion. From my own point of view, after I watched the reunion, Teresa Giudice has let fame gone to her head. Was there a set up? Yes. Who did it? Kim D and I am going to guess Teresa was in on it. But she won't say she was because she wants to save face and keep her growing list of fans for her book and wine thingy. Do I like Teresa? yes because she was smart. She put a bunch of recipes and made it into a book and became a best seller. If I was on reality t.v. I would do the same thing. I have a bunch of my grandma's recipes that I could franchise! Except it would be called "Skinny Southern Cooking" -- at least the way my grandma cooked, homemade fresh foods, we all ate pretty healthy.
Was Melissa Gorga a stripper , was she not one? Who cares. The topic shouldn't have been hot in the first place. Whatever Melissa did, is her business and that is what is important. She is a good wife, and a good mother. And besides being a good wife, she has a wonderful husband who loves her and treats her right. He is a model husband. bottom line: they love each other.
(note: I do hope that Joe, Melissa and Tre do work things out. I hope Tre wakes up and realizes that having a brother and a wonderful sister-in-law is important. Family is important. Period)
As far as her singing goes. I am giong to rate it between Kim, LuAnn, Danielle (yes I forgot she did sing at one point!) and Melissa.
Out of ALL the singing housewives, Melissa Gorga is the best one. Her voice is real. She doesn't need auto-tune (unlike some of the popular singers ::ahem:: Britney Spears whom I think is a good dancer but why have auto-tune??).
